I loved your TOUR THROUGH CROCHET COUNTRY and am looking forward to next year! It has inspired me to try some of my own designs(unfortunately I have had an eye problem the whole month and I have not been able to crochet AT ALL , so your tour kept me crocheting in my mind!

I use any available tote bag or plastic grocery bag. I do want to get a more "professional" bag to carry my supplies.

I have to Ver Bradley bags next to my couch with my projects plus extra yarn in case I want to start something new.

As a beginner, I would love the opportunity to crochet with this beautiful handmade crochet hook. I love nature, and prefer to use handmade products, especially anything made from wood. I believe it would also be better for my hands as the combination of the wood and heat from my hands would help sooth my joint pain I have, and the size of the hook itself is great. Thank you.

The rhythm of nature would be felt in the handmade pieces made with this gorgeous hook. Being able to craft handmade treasures with this hook would be very fulfilling.

Crocheting with a handmade hook is very special because it conforms over time to your hands. I believe the rhythm of using the hook and the heat from your hands shape the hook for your enjoyment. Plus using what nature made is just as enjoyable as natural fibers to crochet with.

I collect hooks and although I do not have a "Jimbo" yet, I have many handmade hooks and especially cherish each of them. It fulfills my soul and makes creating even more enjoyable when I use handmade tools and notions.

What is (or would be) special about crocheting with a handmade hook?

I love the idea of this lovely hook being artfully designed of wood. I would also enjoy the feeling of this unique hook in a variety of yarns, while I contemplated the thought and love that went into making this fine hook; it would surely mingle with the crocheted piece being made.

Working with anything handmade is an unique experience. To know that no other person has this precise object and that you are using it to make more handmade objects gives an intangible value to the finished product. Also, a wooden hook will eventually conform to the person's hand making it an even more comfortable fit and increasing the ease of making crocheted items.

My maternal grandmother taught me to crochet as a child. I have not crochet in 60 yeas and eager and exciting reconnect with my memories and beautiful yearn. I think this natural one-of-a-kind hook would be a lovely and simple connection to "Mother Nature" and the "one with nature" an individual must feel when using it. Thank you for this lovely re-introduction to crocheting again. Gwen Blakley Kinsler told me about you when I met her a Crochet Guild event last Saturday.

My dad was a wood-worker and I've regretted not asking him to make me some crochet hooks before he died - how special would something like this be?? Handmade hooks just seem to go along with the unique, handmade aspect of the things we crochet. Truly special and one of a kind!

To crochet with a handmade hook, use hand spun yarn, stitch a handmade item, and to give a handmade treasure, completes a chain of human interaction and caring that is unmatched by any other creatures on the planet. The warmth and character of the wood grain, textures of hanks and fabric are the definition of why I crochet: for the tactile experiences.
